1.Where can Web Text Extractor extract text from?
In current version (V1.0). Web Text Extractor can extract text from the following place:
  • IE base browser.
  • Windows caption.
  • Edit control.
  • Static control (label).
  • Maybe some other place you can move the WTE's capture cursor over it :).


    • 2.The extracted text was not the same as i see in the browser! Why?
    For some reason, the author of web site do not want people copy text from their site and use it. So they insert random character into the pages content. By making these random character’s color identical to the background color, or use zero size font, people who browser their web site can’t see these character. When using Web Text Extractor, you can filter these transparent characters by checking the “Filter rubbish characters” check box. The transparent character will be filter when you release the capture cursor.
